The Centers Inc. has a generous benefit package for all full time and part time (if applicable) employees, which includes Medical, Dental & Vision, supplemental insurance plans, PTO, an observation of 9 paid holidays annually, free telehealth, 401k, life insurance and more.
Our medical insurance is offered through United Healthcare (UHC) and includes 2 plan options; a traditional copay plan and a HSA plan which allows you to open a Health Savings Account. Both plans are heavily supplemented in part by The Centers which results in a reduced cost to employees. UHC coverage also gives employees access to additional wellness services, including an annual wellness visit which is covered at 100% regardless of which plan is selected.
The Centers offers two different plans for dental through Guardian. Both options allow you to see a dentist of your choice, however, utilizing a Guardian provider allows for a higher level of benefit.
Vision coverage is available through Guardian and allows you to use a preferred provider or a provider of your choice. If a preferred provider is used, you will receive an enhanced level of benefit.
HealthiestYou – FREE Telehealth services
The HealthiestYou telehealth program allows staff to consult with a doctor by phone, smart device or computer and is FREE to ALL benefit eligible employees, their spouses and dependents up to age 26. Employees do not need to be enrolled in a medical plan to receive this benefit.
The Centers observes 9 paid holidays annually. New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day: Day After Thanksgiving (Black Friday); Christmas Eve; Christmas Day.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
All fulltime employees will receive 15 days of PTO during their first year at The Centers; accruing 4.62 hours per pay period. After three years of service at The Centers, PTO increases to 25 days annually, and then to 35 days annually after 10+ years.
Securian Pretax Traditional 401K and Roth 401K
Eligible employees may enroll the first of the month following one year of employment. Employees may contribute 1%-25% of their annual income up to a certain amount ($18,500 in 2018) and The Centers offers a generous 100% match up to 3%. Employees are always 100% vested in their contribution and are fully vested with matched funds after 3 years of service.
Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
The Centers provides all full time employees with a Basic Life & AD&D policy equal to 2x the employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000 at no charge to the employee. The Centers also offers, at a minimal cost to the employee, Additional Basic Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance benefits through Guardian for all full-time eligible employees. Employees are able to select coverage up to $500,000 for themselves, $150,000 for spouses and $10,000 for children.*An EOI will be required for coverage amounts above the guaranteed issue amount.
Legal Insurance from ARAG
Employees may enroll in a choice of two Legal Insurance plans that offer access to a nationwide network of more than 10,000 credentialed attorneys. Through this service, employees will receive legal advice to help prepare documents, a letter or a will at minimal monthly costs. Services include coverage on matters ranging from small claims courts and family issues to estate planning and criminal issues.
Colonial Life Insurance
Colonial’s supplemental plans include Accident Insurance, Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance, Cancer Insurance, and Critical Care Insurance. These benefits offer employees a variety of cash benefits ranging from reimbursement for specific treatment’s or incidents to providing lump sums upon specific diagnosis. These benefits offer an extra layer of financial protection if you are faced with an unexpected serious illness or accident.
