The Centers Inc. has a generous benefit package for all fulltime employees, including Medical and Dental insurance plans, an observation of 9 paid holidays annually, free telehealth, 401k, and life insurance.
The Centers offers two different plans for dental through Guardian. Both options allow you to see a dentist of your choice, however, utilizing a Guardian provider allows for a higher level of benefit.
Our medical insurance is offered through United Healthcare (UHC) and includes 2 plan options; one traditional copay plan and an HSA plan which allows you to open a Health Savings Account. All are supplemented in part by The Centers, and UHC coverage provides access to additional wellness services.
Vision coverage is available through Guardian and allows you to use a preferred provider or a provider of your choice. If a preferred provider is used, you will receive an enhanced level of benefit. The bi-weekly cost for employee only is $2.82, for family coverage the cost is $8.05.
HealthiestYou – FREE Telehealth
HealthiestYou telehealth program allows staff to consult with a doctor by phone and is FREE to ALL full time employees and their spouses and/or dependents up to age 26. Employees do not need to be enrolled in a medical plan to receive this benefit.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Centers observes 9 paid holidays annually. In addition, all fulltime employees will receive 5.54 PTO hours bi-weekly (18 days annually), during their first year at The Centers. After five years of service at The Centers, PTO increases to 23 days annually and then to 30 days annually after 10+ years.
Securian Pretax 401K and Roth 401K
Eligible employees may enroll the first of the month following one year of employment. Employees may contribute 1%-25% of their annual income up to a certain amount ($18,500 in 2018) and The Centers will match 100% up to 3%. Employees are always 100% vested in their contribution and are fully vested with matched funds after 3 years of service.
Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
The Centers offers at a minimal cost, Basic Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance benefits through Guardian for all full-time eligible employees. The Life & AD&D benefit is equal to 2x the employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000.
Legal Insurance from ARAG
Employees may enroll in a choice of two Legal Insurance plans that offer in-office access to a nationwide network of more than 10,000 credentialed attorneys. Through this service, employees will receive unlimited legal advice to help prepare documents, a letter or a will at minimal monthly costs. Services include coverage on matters ranging from small claims courts and family issues to estate planning and criminal issues.
Colonial Life Insurance
Colonial’s supplemental plans, including Accident Insurance, Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance, and Cancer Insurance provide a cash lump sum if you experience a covered condition. These benefits provide an extra layer of financial protection if you are faced with a serious illness or accident.
