When someone you care about and love is hurting or in trouble, you may feel at a loss to know how to help. The Centers offers many options for inpatient, residential, and outpatient mental health and addiction recovery support.
One of the best ways you can help a loved one is to listen and encourage them to have the courage to seek the support of a professional who can equip them with the coping tools needed and provide therapeutic healing to help them obtain recovery and wellness.
You can help by referring them to our services utilizing our website to share program information, or suggesting they call (352) 291-5555 to speak to one of our Call Support Specialists.
If a loved one is putting themselves or others at risk because of mental illness or addiction but is not ready to see the benefit of treatment, we can help. To learn more about the Baker Act and Marchman Act, click here.
